The membership of the Pacific Northwest Kiwanis Foundation is comprised of all members of clubs in the Pacific Northwest District of Kiwanis International.

Clubs in the Pacific Northwest are encouraged to support the three Kiwanis Foundations that serve children and youth in the Pacific Northwest through scholarships and other programs:

·         The PNW Kiwanis Foundation;

·         The Kiwanis International Foundation; and

·         The Kiwanis Foundation of Canada

The Kiwanis Children’s Cancer Program:
Your Foundation is Working to Help Children with Cancer

Over the years, Kiwanis clubs in the Pacific Northwest have raised millions of dollars to support innovative pediatric cancer research and cancer care.  The PNW Kiwanis Foundation is proud to be a partner in the Kiwanis Children’s Cancer Program and is ready to accept your contribution to help fund research fellows at children’s cancer hospitals serving Pacific Northwest children.

If you have a preference as to which hospital your contribution goes to (Portland, Seattle, or Vancouver), please let us know.  You can also support the Portland hospital through the Kiwanis Doernbecher Children’s Cancer Program (KDCCP) or the Vancouver hospital through the Kiwanis Foundation of Canada.  Remember that each of these hospitals serves children from a wide catchment area, so children from your Pacific Northwest community are likely having their cancer treated at one of these three facilities.

The Eliminate Project:
Changing the World by Eliminating Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus

When three 60-cent injections can save the life of a newborn child or his or her mother, there is no doubt that the Eliminate Project is worth supporting.  However, the founding documents of the PNW Kiwanis Foundation do not allow Foundation funds to be used for projects outside the Pacific Northwest.

Individuals and clubs wishing to support Kiwanis International’s Worldwide Service Project are encouraged to visit www.theeliminateproject.org for more information about the project and how to contribute.  Donations can be accepted through:

·         The Kiwanis International Foundation or

·         The Kiwanis Foundation of Canada
