Foundation's
Sylvester Neal Scholarship
About the scholarship: In 2011, the PNW Kiwanis
Foundation named a $1,000 USD scholarship after Sylester Neal. Sylvester served as PNW Governor in
2002/03, as International Trustee from 2004 to 2007. He was elected International Vice
President in 2007, serving four years as an international officer,
including International President in 2010/11. The first scholarship was presented in
March 2011. This scholarship is
presented at the Key Club District Convention.
Criteria: This award is based on
commitment to community service by a graduating member of a Key Club
within the Pacific Northwest District.
Scholarship value: $1,000 US
The Pacific Northwest Kiwanis
Foundation's
Joe & Marion Epler Scholarship
About the scholarship: In 2006, the PNW Kiwanis
Foundation named a $1,000 USD scholarship after Joe & Marion
Epler. One of the founding
Directors of the PNW Kiwanis Foundation, he has served on the board since
1985, including two years as president.
He served as PNW District Governor in 1959 and continues to be an
active member of the Foundation.
This scholarship is presented at the Key Club District Convention.
Criteria: This award is based on
commitment to community service by a graduating member of a Key Club
within the Pacific Northwest District.
Scholarship value: $1,000 US
The Pacific Northwest Kiwanis
Foundation's
Erling M. Larsen Scholarship
About the scholarship: The PNW Kiwanis Foundation named a $1,000 USD
scholarship after Erling M. Larsen in 2005. A J.N. Emerson Fellow, Erling served on
the Foundation board from 1986 (one year after the Foundation was formed)
to 2003, including a term as president in 1991/92. Starting in 2005/06, this scholarship
will be made available each year to a high school student who is planning
to attend college or university.
This scholarship is presented at the Key Club District Convention.
Criteria: This award is based on
commitment to community service by a graduating member of a Key Club
within the Pacific Northwest District.

Key Club District Scholarships
About the scholarships: The Foundation makes available three $1,000 USD
scholarships each year to high school students who are planning to attend
college or university. These
scholarships are presented at the Key Club District Convention.
Criteria: This award is based on
commitment to community service by a graduating member of a Key Club
within the Pacific Northwest District.
Scholarship value: $1,000 US

Kiwanis International Foundation Matching Scholarships for Key Club
About the scholarships: The Kiwanis International Foundation and the PNW
Kiwanis Foundation jointly fund one $1,000 USD scholarship to a Key club
member who is planning to attend college or university. These scholarships are presented at the
Key Club International Convention.
Criteria: This award is based on
commitment to community service by a graduating member of a Key Club
within the Pacific Northwest District.
